Our Mission
Kailua Medical Cannabis Card is committed to helping local residents understand how Hawaiʻi’s medical cannabis system works and what is required to obtain a 329 registration. Our goal is to make the certification and state-application process easier to navigate while encouraging patients to rely on qualified healthcare providers and follow Hawaiʻi law.
Patients exploring medical cannabis should have access to clear information about both possible benefits and limitations. Research has examined cannabis and cannabinoids in relation to pain and other health concerns, but treatment decisions should reflect the patient’s individual condition, health history, potential benefits, and possible risks.
Who We Are
Kailua Medical Cannabis Card provides patient-oriented guidance for residents entering or remaining in Hawaiʻi’s Medical Cannabis Registry Program. Applying for the first time can involve unfamiliar concepts, including medical certification, the bona fide provider-patient relationship, primary caregivers, grow-site registration, and electronic 329 cards.
Our aim is to make these requirements easier to understand while maintaining the distinction between medical certification and state registration. The physician or APRN certifies the patient, while the Hawaiʻi Department of Health reviews and approves the 329 application.
Our Commitment
Straightforward Patient Guidance: We work to explain the 329 application and certification process in practical terms for Kailua residents.
Patient Privacy: Medical and identifying information should be treated carefully throughout the certification and registration process.
Information Based on Hawaiʻi’s Program: Our guidance reflects the terminology and procedures used by the Hawaiʻi Medical Cannabis Registry Program.
Continued Registration Support: Assistance is available for patients seeking to better understand certification, primary caregivers, grow sites, renewals, and other requirements associated with maintaining a 329 card.
Joining Hands with the Community
Kailua Medical Cannabis Card supports responsible participation in Hawaiʻi’s medical cannabis program. Receiving an approved registration does not remove the restrictions that apply to where cannabis can be possessed, cultivated, transported, or used.
Registered patients must continue following Hawaiʻi law, including restrictions on driving while under the influence of medical cannabis. DOH specifically reminds patients that a 329 card does not permit impaired driving.
Our Vision
Our vision is for qualifying Kailua residents to have a clearer understanding of Hawaiʻi’s medical cannabis system before, during, and after registration.
We hope patients can navigate certification and 329 registration confidently, understand the responsibilities associated with patient status, and make informed decisions about medical cannabis together with appropriate healthcare professionals.
Thank you for choosing Kailua Medical Cannabis Card. We are committed to helping patients navigate Hawaiʻi’s program responsibly and with reliable information.
